BratPack, Day 10: In a Corner
Message from Kristin:
Einstein had an initial visit which my vet did for free. Everything was great and he goes back to have his back end rechecked (it was raw from laying in urine) on Thursday this week. Einstein is the most scared dog, everything makes him hide. He is DEFINITELY not housebroken, although we are working on that.
You can pick him up once he is cornered and love on him but he stays so rigid as though he doesn’t know what you will do next. He has lived 2 years with NO human attention. He loves other dogs and that has made him more social. If I open the door he will go outside and go potty and then come right back in (but he is going about 20x a day
pee that is). If we have any applicants that are retired and understand his situation he would be perfect and the reward to them when he does come out of his shell will be priceless. He is a beautiful dog, a little on the larger size at 20lbs. and hearty no visible allergies.

I have to corner Darcy too and I love on her and she is stiff as a board and won’t look at me, but she follows me all day……just keeps a comfortable distance. I sure hope that we can place these dogs and I think they need to go to a home where there is at least one other dog…a happy dog, not aggressive.
